Head of Supply Chain Management

About the role

We are partnering with an international manufacturing business to find a Head of Supply Chain Management. Reporting to the Chief Supply Chain & Strategy Officer, you will own the end‑to‑end supply chain (excluding procurement) across multiple sites and drive both operational performance and organisational transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Own production planning, inventory management and logistics functions.
• Lead a team of approximately 30 FTEs located in Germany and other international sites.
• Shift the organisation towards a more centralised, matrix‑led supply chain structure.
• Build and embed a Supply Chain Excellence function.
• Align processes and improve performance across all sites.
• Lead change, transformation and digitalisation initiatives.
• Act as a key interface to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in supply chain within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong expertise across planning, inventory and logistics.
• Ability to operate strategically while remaining hands‑on.
• Track record of change management and organisational transformation.
• Analytical, process‑driven mindset.
• Exposure to systems and digitalisation initiatives.
• Fluent in German and English.
