Head of Supply Chain Management (m/f/d)

About the role

We are partnering with a fast‑growing international manufacturing organisation to find a Head of Supply Chain (m/f/d) for its Bonn hub. Reporting to the Chief Supply Chain & Strategy Officer, you will own the end‑to‑end supply chain (excluding procurement) across multiple European and global sites, driving performance, alignment and transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Full ownership of production planning, inventory management and logistics operations.
• Lead and develop a team of approximately 30 FTEs across Germany and international locations.
• Drive the transition to a centralised, matrix‑led supply chain structure.
• Establish and embed a Supply Chain Excellence function.
• Standardise processes and improve performance across manufacturing sites.
• Lead transformation, change‑management and digitalisation initiatives.
• Act as a key interface to senior leadership, influencing strategic decisions.
• Deliver improvements in service levels, cost efficiency and operational KPIs.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in supply chain within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong expertise across planning, inventory and logistics.
• Demonstrated ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels.
• Track record of delivering organisational change and transformation programmes.
• Highly analytical with a process‑driven mindset.
• Experience with systems implementation and digital supply chain initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including exposure to senior executive teams.
• Fluent in German and English.
