About the role

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Unit – Digital Solutions to lead the team that creates and maintains the digital products supporting NRC’s humanitarian operations worldwide.

Key responsibilities

Provide leadership across stakeholder engagement, project delivery and people development.
Guide a geographically dispersed team of software developers, data engineers and product managers.
Ensure the unit focuses on the highest‑value priorities and delivers high‑quality digital solutions.
Maintain and evolve a portfolio that includes custom‑built applications, SaaS platforms, data solutions and externally developed tools.
Act as a centre of technical expertise, advising development teams across the organisation.

Required profile

Proven experience in leading digital product teams.
Strategic mindset with the ability to set priorities for large‑scale humanitarian operations.
Strong stakeholder‑engagement capabilities.
