HR Generalist – Employee Relations & Talent Management

About the role

Louis Vuitton is seeking an HR Generalist to join its Head Office in Munich. The role will provide comprehensive HR advisory to store managers and employees, covering everything from labor law to talent development, while supporting the full employee life‑cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Advise managers and staff on HR topics, including labor law, employee relations and performance issues.
• Handle confidential employee cases such as conflicts, disciplinary actions and performance management.
• Support recruitment, employer branding, job postings, candidate selection and interview processes.
• Contribute to workforce planning, talent management, succession planning and internal mobility initiatives.
• Assist with performance management, career development and training programmes in partnership with HR and Training teams.
• Conduct retention and exit interviews, analyse HR KPIs and produce actionable reports.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, labor regulations and HR standards.
• Participate in HR projects and implement actions derived from employee surveys to boost engagement.

Required profile

• Relevant higher education in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• Professional experience in HR advisory, employee relations or talent management, preferably in a retail or luxury environment.
• Strong knowledge of German labor law and HR best practices.
• Excellent communication skills in German and English.
