Information Technology Desktop Support

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Desktop Support professional to provide first- and second‑level assistance for desktops, laptops, printers and mobile devices. You will work closely with end‑users and other IT teams to ensure a smooth and secure computing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to service requests and incidents via ticketing system, phone or in‑person.
• Install, upgrade and maintain Windows, macOS and Linux operating systems and software applications.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and peripheral issues, including monitors, keyboards and docking stations.
• Configure new employee workstations, user accounts and permissions.
• Maintain asset inventory and documentation of IT equipment.
• Support onboarding and off‑boarding from a technical perspective.
• Assist remote users with VPN, remote desktop and connectivity problems.
• Collaborate with other IT teams on escalated issues and project tasks.
• Follow security protocols, including antivirus, patching and data‑protection policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 1 year of experience in desktop support, help‑desk or IT technician roles.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Office 365 and basic networking concepts.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, Zendesk or JIRA.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
