Integration Engineer – Building Services & MEP

About the role

Proxima Fusion is building the world’s first commercial stellarator fusion power plant. As an Integration Engineer you will ensure that all building‑services, electrical power distribution and cryogenic utilities are seamlessly integrated with the fusion machine.

Key responsibilities

• Lead integration reviews for TGA, electrical and cryogenic systems, guaranteeing constructability and clear interfaces.
• Define routing strategies, utility corridors, technical spaces, penetrations and interface envelopes for Alpha and early Stellaris concepts.
• Translate machine‑engineering requirements (vacuum, cryo, high‑power electrical, cooling) into building‑ready inputs for external partners.
• Identify and resolve conflicts early using federated BIM models and maintain disciplined configuration documentation.
• Collaborate with Structural Integration, the BIM Specialist and the Project Manager to keep a consistent, buildable engineering baseline.

Required profile

• Degree in mechanical, building‑services, electrical engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience integrating utilities or building‑services systems in complex technical or industrial environments.
• Comfort with evolving requirements and ability to shape early engineering solutions.
• Strong aptitude for spotting constructability and operability issues through digital model review.
