Project Manager - Site & Infrastructure Development

About the role

You will lead the delivery of site development and infrastructure projects for Europe’s fastest‑growing fusion company. Working alongside experts in physics, engineering, software and business, you will help turn cutting‑edge stellarator designs into a commercial power plant.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end delivery of site development and infrastructure projects, managing schedule, budget, risk register and stakeholder engagement from definition through completion.
• Translate feasibility studies, master‑planning inputs and concept briefs into executable project plans with clear milestones, gates and resource requirements.
• Manage relationships with site owners, local planning authorities and specialist consultants, navigating regulatory constraints and timelines.
• Coordinate internal engineering and manufacturing teams to align deliverables with technical specifications.
• Monitor regulatory approvals, secure necessary permits and ensure compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Report progress to senior leadership, adjust plans based on feedback and maintain governance structures across multiple projects at different maturity levels.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering complex infrastructure or site‑development projects.
• Strong ability to work across multidisciplinary teams and engage external stakeholders.
• Excellent organisational, risk‑management and communication capabilities.
• Experience with large‑scale scientific or energy infrastructure projects is a plus.
