Intern Tool Management Machining (m/w/d)

About the role

Wieland-Werke AG, part of the Business Unit Engineered Products in Ulm, offers a tool management internship for machining (m/w/d) starting in March 2027. You will work on setting up tools and managing tool plans within the company's production environment.

Key responsibilities

• Set up tools including 3D models and setup plans in the TDM system and manage setup plans in the IMS.
• Use your technical understanding to help structure the inventory of machining tools.
• Take charge of tasks in a large project and work together with production, tool management and CAM programming teams.
• Create analyses that form the basis of process optimisation.

Required profile

• Studying in production engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or a similar field.
• Team spirit, independence and willingness to get involved.
• Good German and English, spoken and written.
