Internship Trainee - Restaurants, Bars & Experiences

About the role

Mandarin Oriental, Munich, part of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, is looking for an Internship Trainee (m/f/d) to join its Restaurants, Bars & Experiences (RB&E) team. The role is based at the hotel in the Old Town of Munich and covers day-to-day support of the restaurant, bar and banquet operations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the daily operations of restaurants and/or banqueting services
• Support service teams in delivering high-quality guest experiences
• Interact professionally and courteously with guests
• Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure seamless operations
• Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests to ensure exceptional guest satisfaction
• Independently manage operations during assigned shifts
• Ensure compliance with all Mandarin Oriental and HACCP standards

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Culinary Arts or a related field
• Strong interest in Restaurants, Bars & Experiences / food and beverage operations and hospitality service excellence
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work in a team and independently

• Very good communication skills in German and English
