IT Support Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an IT Support Engineer to join the Technical Customer Support team of a fast‑growing retail‑tech company. You will be the first line of defence for DACH customers, handling end‑to‑end ticket resolution for IoT, network and SaaS solutions that keep in‑store installations running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, triage and resolve support tickets from intake to closure.
• Diagnose and fix issues across LAN, WLAN, cloud, Linux and Windows environments.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless operation of smart shelf labels, sensors and other retail intelligence tools.
• Maintain documentation of incidents and solutions for future reference.

Required profile

• Strong command of IT environments including LAN, WLAN, cloud platforms, Linux and Windows.
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve technical problems across systems, networks and software.
• Experience in technical support or a Level‑2 support role.
• Fluent in German and English (minimum C1 level).
• Willingness to work on‑site in France or Cologne.
