IT Support Engineer – Onsite Desk & Mobility Services

About the role

The Onsite IT Support Engineer will deliver hands‑on technical assistance to end users at client locations in Stuttgart. The role covers deskside support, IT Lounge assistance, enterprise mobility services, IMACD activities and basic network troubleshooting, ensuring smooth daily IT operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide onsite deskside support for laptops, desktops, peripherals and workplace devices.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and connectivity issues, logging work in ServiceNow.
• Act as first point of contact at the IT Lounge/Walk‑In Center, handling hardware swaps, MFA assistance and meeting‑room AV checks.
• Support macOS and mobile endpoints, Azure AD device registration and Microsoft Intune enrollment.
• Perform Install, Move, Add, Change, Delete (IMACD) tasks, imaging, staging and data migration.
• Maintain CMDB and asset records, perform tagging and lifecycle tracking.
• Assist network and telephony teams with LAN patching, access‑point troubleshooting and cabling.
• Provide backup coverage for nearby client sites and travel as needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience in onsite desktop/deskside support for Windows and macOS environments.
• Strong customer‑facing attitude with excellent communication skills in English and the local language.
• Ability to work independently on‑site and follow client security and data‑protection policies.
