Junior Software Engineer

About the role

Join a global aerospace pioneer developing cutting‑edge simulation systems for aircraft equipment. As a Junior Software Engineer you will work on creating and integrating simulation models while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop simulation models for aircraft equipment primarily using C++.
• Create tools to stimulate simulators and run simulations.
• Design and execute unit tests for software modules.
• Build development‑process tools such as code generators.
• Integrate models into aircraft simulation environments (C++/Ada).
• Perform integration testing and produce software module documentation.
• Take product ownership for smaller subsystems.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Aeronautical Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong interest in flight simulators, software development, and system integration.
• Excellent analytical, structured thinking and communication skills in English.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is desired.

Required skills

• Proficiency in object‑oriented programming with C++.
• Scripting experience with Bash.
• Programming experience with Python.
