Lead People Operations & Strategic HR Business Partner

About the role

ATOSS Software SE is seeking a senior HR professional to lead People Operations and act as a strategic HR Business Partner for its Finance, IT, Legal and Digital Transformation functions. The role combines high‑level HR strategy with hands‑on operational leadership of a small HR administration team.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HR advisor for Finance, IT, Legal and Digital Transformation, aligning people strategies with business objectives.
• Guide senior leaders on organisational design, workforce planning, talent development, performance management, compensation and employee engagement.
• Identify capability gaps and collaborate with L&D to create targeted development programmes.
• Leverage HR data and people analytics to provide evidence‑based insights for decision‑making.
• Lead change‑management initiatives, especially those related to digital transformation.
• Ensure compliance with German labour law, including hiring, contracts, works council relations and disciplinary actions.
• Oversee day‑to‑day HR operations, managing a small HR admin team.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in German labour law; a qualification as a German lawyer is a strong advantage.
• Proven track record in fast‑paced, technology‑driven environments.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to translate business goals into HR initiatives.
• Strong advisory skills for senior leadership and experience managing HR operational teams.
