Maintenance Engineer (m/f/d) – Fulfilment Center Berlin

About the role

As a Maintenance Engineer you will join our new Fulfilment Center in Falkensee (Berlin/Brandenburg) and ensure that the material handling equipment operates at peak performance. You will independently resolve malfunctions, drive continuous improvements and coach junior colleagues to keep tens of thousands of orders flowing smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues in material handling systems.
• Collaborate with machine suppliers to solve complex technical problems.
• Analyse failures, prevent recurrence and implement structural improvements.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to maximise system availability.
• Take full responsibility for the service and maintenance of all intralogistics equipment during your shift.

Required profile

• Completed Ausbildung and/or Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in a technical field (e.g., mechanical engineering, mechatronics, automation).
• Minimum 4 years of experience in a technical or maintenance role.
• Hands‑on knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including measurement and camera technologies.
• Interest in using software tools such as CMMS and/or ICS/SCADA.
• Strong communication skills, independent, goal‑oriented and fluent in English and/or German.
