Mandatory Internship Embedded Product Design

About the role

We are looking for a motivated student to join our hardware development team in Schwieberdingen for a mandatory 6‑month internship focused on embedded product design. You will work on circuit development, PCB layout and documentation, gaining hands‑on experience with real‑world electronic assemblies.

Key responsibilities

• Capture and define requirements for electronic assemblies.
• Develop and optimise analog and digital circuits.
• Create and edit PCB layouts using Altium Designer.
• Prepare manufacturing documentation, including bills of materials and technical files.
• Collaborate with mechanical, software and purchasing teams to integrate solutions.

Required profile

• Enrolled in an Electronics or Engineering degree program.
• Good understanding of eCAD tools for schematic and layout design.
• Ability to work independently, systematically and meticulously.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interdisciplinary teamwork.
• Very good English proficiency.

Required skills

• Altium Designer (experience preferred).
