Motorsport Solutions Specialist - Formula 1

About the role

RIEDEL Communications is the leading provider of live production tools for media, sports and entertainment, with a Managed Technology division that rents audio, video, IT and communication solutions for international live events. As a Motorsport Solutions Specialist for Formula 1, you will support the racing team in planning, preparing and executing motorsport projects worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain analog and digital voice radio systems
• Set up, operate and support wireless and wired communication networks on site
• Deploy and maintain smaller-scale IT infrastructures in event and racing environments
• Collaborate closely with RIEDEL colleagues on site and with Formula 1 teams
• Troubleshoot technical issues down to module level and create detailed reports for on-site teams and headquarters in Wuppertal
• Document all completed events thoroughly and in a structured way

Required profile

• Completed technical training or academic background in a relevant field such as mechatronics, event or IT technology, electronics or communications technology
• Hands-on experience in motorsport, broadcast or event technology (strong plus)
• High willingness to travel, flexibility and ability to work independently
• Fluent English (written and spoken) and a valid Class B driving licence
