PMO Manager – Project Management & Resource Coordination

About the role

The PMO Manager will lead the planning, execution and monitoring of logistics‑related projects in our Frankfurt office. You will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and aligned with strategic goals while fostering cross‑functional collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate, design and schedule internal and external logistics projects such as efficiency optimisation, cost reduction and system construction.
• Make routine project decisions, address issues promptly and keep projects on track.
• Develop detailed project plans with clear timelines, milestones and deliverables; track progress and report status, risks and issues to management.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks, coordinate resources across functions and prevent conflicts or priority misalignments.
• Document project outcomes, conduct reviews and continuously improve project‑management methodologies.
• Analyse, create and maintain standard operating procedures, operational mechanisms and collaboration frameworks for the department and cross‑functional teams.
• Lead departmental weekly meetings, special project meetings and cross‑functional workshops; capture minutes, assign tasks and monitor closure.
• Establish repeatable meeting and follow‑up processes to promote information transparency and action completion.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in logistics, supply chain or management.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in project management or PMO roles; experience in e‑commerce logistics, fulfillment or transportation is a plus.
• Strong cross‑functional communication and coordination abilities, capable of independently driving complex projects.
• Fluent English for daily work; additional European language skills are advantageous.
