Principal Data Analyst – Logistics Key Account Management

About the role

The Principal Data Analyst will act as the analytical thought leader for the Logistics Key Account Management team, bridging commercial goals and logistics realities. You will enable data‑driven decision‑making across markets, propositions and logistics operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex, long‑term analytical projects and develop an analytical edge in logistics and propositions.
• Identify root causes of operational challenges and customer friction through data‑driven performance steering.
• Define outcome‑based KPI targets, establish scalable review procedures and drive continuous improvement standards.
• Partner with Markets, Propositions and Logistics to map data‑driven service needs, assess new service impact and support capability road‑maps.

Required profile

• Extensive experience as a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst or similar role, preferably in e‑commerce, retail or logistics.
• Strong strategic thinking and stakeholder management skills, able to act as a consultant and challenge the status‑quo.
• Comfortable influencing operational KPI performance without managing day‑to‑day operations.

Required skills

• Advanced statistics and data modelling.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Experience with scientific research methodologies.
• Familiarity with Claude or similar AI‑assisted analytics tools.
