Principal Key Account Manager – Logistics for Propositions

About the role

The Logistics Key Account Management team connects logistics operations with internal and external customers. In this senior C8 role you will own the strategic B2B proposition "About You", aligning commercial needs with operational logistics to shape long‑term logistics priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Define and challenge the logistics strategy for the About You proposition, translating unit objectives into 2‑5 year plans.
• Lead complex problem solving, creating frameworks to identify root causes and assess business impact.
• Build strong alliances across About You teams, Zalando Commercial and Logistics Operations, managing the convenience‑trade‑off triangle.
• Plan and execute strategic initiatives, breaking them into work streams, allocating resources and mitigating risks.
• Provide thought leadership and mentorship, establishing best practices and coaching peers.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in Key Account Management, Strategic Development, Supply Chain Management or B2B Operations, preferably with large enterprise clients.
• Proven strategic thinker capable of shaping multi‑year visions and driving complex project execution.
• Strong analytical mindset, comfortable with ambiguity and data‑driven decision making.
• Excellent senior stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
• Natural leader who contributes to team culture and mentors junior colleagues.
