Production Test Pilot – Helicopter Flight Test

About the role

Airbus Helicopters Deutschland GmbH is seeking an experienced Production Test Pilot to join its Flight Test team in Donauwörth. You will be responsible for conducting production, certification and customer hand‑over flights for a range of helicopter types, ensuring safety and compliance with Airbus standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform production test flights and certification test flights for new helicopters.
• Conduct hand‑over, induction and ferry flights to customers worldwide.
• Implement current regulations into flight operations and produce written reports.
• Support projects aimed at obtaining type certification.

Required profile

• EASA ATPL(H) or CPL(H) with IFR rating.
• Flight Test Rating Category 1 or 2 and a Class 1 medical certificate.
• Minimum 1 500 total helicopter flight hours, including 1 000 PIC hours and 1 000 turbine‑helicopter hours.
• At least one type rating on H135/H145, Tiger, NH90 or CH‑53.
• Business‑fluent English and German.
• Flexibility, mobility and strong teamwork orientation.
