Project Leader or Principal, Operations - Service and Corporate Operations

About the role

Boston Consulting Group is seeking a Project Leader or Principal to join its Operations – Service and Corporate Operations team in Germany or Austria. The role will drive end‑to‑end service transformation projects for leading organisations, shaping operating models and enhancing customer engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage multi‑disciplinary projects focused on service operations, order‑to‑cash and corporate support functions.
• Design and implement innovative operating models that improve efficiency, digital adoption and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with senior client stakeholders to define strategy, scope and measurable outcomes.
• Leverage analytics and AI tools to generate insights and drive data‑based decision making.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to BCG’s knowledge base in service operations.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading complex consulting engagements in service or operations domains.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, client‑focused environment across Germany or Austria.
