Project Manager – Production Expansion

About the role

TRION Battery Technologies is seeking a senior Project Manager to lead the capital‑investment programme that will scale up its Dresden plant. Reporting to the COO, you will be responsible for delivering the EFA cell‑line expansion and associated automation projects on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end delivery of the CAPEX scale‑up programme, including scope definition, scheduling, budgeting, risk and quality management.
• Develop and maintain integrated project plans with milestones, dependencies and resource requirements.
• Coordinate equipment vendors, integrators and contractors through specification, Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), Site Acceptance Test (SAT), installation, commissioning and qualification.
• Track and control the project budget against the approved CAPEX envelope, managing change orders and variations.
• Report progress regularly to the COO, GM, and Board, providing clear status updates and financial forecasts.

Required profile

• Engineering background with proven experience leading capital projects in an automation‑intensive manufacturing environment.
• Comfortable working on the shop floor, with suppliers, and presenting to senior leadership.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with a focus on delivering results.

• Risk and quality management in industrial projects.
