About the role

Engelhart is seeking an experienced back‑end Python software engineer to join its Berlin office. You will become part of the Trading & Commercial Development Team, building and scaling micro‑services that power a renewables trading platform.

Key responsibilities

Design, develop and maintain containerised services for auction‑based renewables trading.
Collaborate with engineers, business analysts, traders, data engineers and data scientists in a cross‑functional environment.
Stay current with technology trends and continuously improve code bases, systems and processes.
Mentor junior team members, enforce code quality and conduct pull‑request reviews.

Required profile

Seasoned Python developer with experience in time‑sensitive, hybrid‑cloud environments.
Proven ability to work closely with commercial stakeholders and translate business needs into technical solutions.
Strong collaborative mindset and willingness to share knowledge with the team.
