QA Technician – Cross-Platform Game Testing

About the role

Sandbox Interactive is looking for a QA Technician to ensure the quality and gameplay integrity of Albion Online across all supported platforms, with a primary focus on mobile and consoles. You will work closely with designers, developers and fellow QA colleagues to validate cross‑platform functionality and deliver a polished player experience.

Key responsibilities

• Test and validate gameplay and systems on mobile and console platforms.
• Identify, reproduce and document platform‑specific bugs, including controls, input handling, UI navigation and performance issues.
• Follow up with developers on reported issues and log findings in the bug‑tracking system.
• Collaborate with Designers, Producers and Feature Owners to ensure features meet platform requirements and quality standards.
• Create and maintain test plans, checklists and test cases for cross‑platform coverage, device compatibility and regression testing.
• Participate in internal playtests and provide feedback on usability, controls, performance and overall player experience.
• Help ensure builds are stable, optimized and release‑ready on all supported platforms.

Required profile

• Previous experience in Quality Assurance or game testing, preferably with cross‑platform, mobile and/or console focus.
• Strong understanding of platform‑specific challenges such as hardware specs, input methods and performance constraints.
• Excellent attention to detail, structured working style and ability to learn new tools quickly.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with strong organization and time‑management skills.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
