Robotics Operations Technician (Field Support)

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Robotics Operations Technician to join our field operations team in Frankfurt. You will work directly with autonomous delivery robots, handling deployment, maintenance, and performance monitoring in real‑world environments.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily deployment, testing, and operational flow of autonomous delivery robots.
• Perform basic hardware troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance.
• Assist with software updates, charging cycles, and routine system checks.
• Monitor robot performance metrics, identify anomalies, and report issues to the engineering team.
• Conduct field tests to validate new features in live, unpredictable settings.
• Act as the on‑ground liaison with remote engineering and central operations teams.
• Maintain detailed operational logs and provide timely status updates.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed an Engineering degree (BSc/MSc) in Robotics, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong documented interest in robotics and autonomous systems (projects, labs, internships).
• Comfortable working in field‑based environments such as sidewalks, delivery zones, or warehouses.
• Good communication skills in English; German is a strong plus.
• Ability to work independently, manage schedule, and proactively identify issues.
