Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, build and operate cloud infrastructure for an established AI company. You will work with infrastructure‑as‑code, container orchestration and cloud networking to support a global customer base.

Key responsibilities

• Design and operate cloud infrastructure from concept through production using Terraform and IaC principles.
• Manage containerised applications on AWS EKS, including monitoring, scaling and orchestration.
• Administer Windows and Linux servers and configure networking components such as VPC, load balancers, firewalls, VPN and DNS.
• Automate repetitive tasks with Bash, Python or PowerShell scripts and develop CI/CD pipelines.
• Create minimum viable products and proof‑of‑concepts to evaluate new technologies.

Required profile

• Completed vocational qualification as an IT specialist for system integration, a technical degree or comparable qualification with strong results.
• Solid experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, Windows/Linux server administration and cloud networking.
• Knowledge of Git, GitLab, CI/CD strategies, scripting languages and networking services (VPC, load balancers, firewalls, VPN, DNS).
• Strong automation mindset with high standards for documentation, security and reliability.
• Very good English; German is a strong plus.
