Senior Director Brand and Content

About the role

This senior leadership position is based in Germany and offers the chance to build and lead a brand, content, and creative function from the ground up within a fast‑growing B2B SaaS company. The role combines strategic vision with hands‑on execution, using AI‑enhanced workflows to drive efficiency and impact.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the overall brand strategy, positioning, messaging framework, and visual identity.
• Build and scale a modern content function that delivers editorial, thought‑leadership, and demand‑generation assets.
• Establish an in‑house creative team covering design, copywriting, video, and multimedia production.
• Implement AI‑powered content and creative workflows to improve speed, scalability, consistency, and quality.
• Partner with product, sales, marketing, and operations to align brand initiatives with go‑to‑market priorities.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop high‑performing professionals while fostering a culture of innovation.
• Manage external agencies, freelancers, and strategic partners, overseeing budgets and resources.
• Define and monitor metrics for brand awareness, content effectiveness, creative impact, and business outcomes.

Required profile

• 12+ years of progressive experience in brand, content, or creative leadership, preferably in B2B SaaS.
• 5+ years of experience leading and scaling senior‑level teams.
• Deep understanding of SaaS go‑to‑market strategies, buyer journeys, demand generation, product marketing, lifecycle marketing, and sales enablement.
• Proven track record of building marketing functions, processes, and operational frameworks from scratch.
