Senior Director of EU Operations – Medical Cannabis

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Director of EU Operations to lead end‑to‑end operational performance for a leading medical‑cannabis producer in Europe. Reporting to the EU Leadership team, you will act as the bridge between the global Canadian headquarters and the European business, ensuring seamless integration across manufacturing, supply‑chain and distribution functions.

Key responsibilities

• Own the strategic and day‑to‑day operations across Europe, including the production site in Leuna, Germany.
• Align manufacturing, logistics, inventory and distribution networks with commercial growth targets.
• Collaborate with finance, commercial and global functions to drive revenue, profitability and cash‑flow.
• Lead a matrixed organization, coordinating multiple teams, geographies and external partners.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and consistent quality across all EU markets, currently Germany, UK and Poland.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience managing operations in a regulated, fast‑growing industry (pharma, biotech or medical cannabis).
• Fluent in German and English.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a matrix structure and influence cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Track record of scaling operations to support commercial expansion.
