Senior Manager SEO & Growth Strategist

About the role

Rapid Data is looking for a Senior Manager SEO & Growth Strategist to own and scale the organic growth of its six memorial and obituary portals across Germany, Sweden and Norway. This is a hands‑on, founder‑mindset position where you will design the SEO architecture from scratch and work closely with engineering and product leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a multi‑market SEO strategy, including keyword architecture, programmatic page templates, internal linking and large‑scale indexation.
• Conduct a full technical SEO audit and drive fixes with engineering (crawl budget, Core Web Vitals, Schema.org markup, JavaScript rendering, sitemap infrastructure).
• Design a unified tracking framework using Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs and Semrush, and report KPIs to senior leadership.
• Build foundations for Generative Engine Optimization (AI‑crawler accessibility, fact‑structured content, visibility in AI overviews).
• Translate SEO requirements into engineering backlog items, prioritize and QA implementations.
• Create an organic growth forecasting model and evaluate traffic partnership opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven founder or builder mentality – experience launching a growth function, product or side project from zero.
• Extensive SEO experience on marketplace, classifieds or large‑scale UGC platforms (jobs, real estate, automotive, travel, etc.).
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to model traffic potential and ROI.
