Senior Medical Safety Manager – Hospital Patient Monitoring

About the role

In this role you will ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance across the full product lifecycle for the Hospital Patient Monitoring portfolio, supporting medical product safety surveillance, adverse event reporting and proactive risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Support timely evaluation, documentation and reporting of adverse events from post‑market surveillance, literature reviews and real‑world data.
• Analyze safety data from clinical trials and post‑market sources to identify signals, trends and emerging risks.
• Assist in preparing and submitting safety reports, risk‑benefit analyses, clinical study reports and other regulatory documents.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams during development and post‑market phases to assess risks and implement risk‑management strategies.
• Conduct scientific literature reviews and ongoing safety surveillance to detect new safety issues.
• Respond to safety‑related inquiries from healthcare professionals, patients and internal stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement of safety processes, policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Medical Science, Nursing, Clinical Science or equivalent.
• 7‑10 years experience in Medical or Clinical Affairs within medical devices or biotech.
• Clinical experience in adult or pediatric ICU, operating room or telemetry environments.
• Willingness to travel internationally 10‑25% annually.
