Senior Site Reliability Engineer – Cloud Native (B2B Contract)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to design, maintain, and optimise cloud‑native infrastructures that support mission‑critical healthcare and pharmaceutical platforms worldwide. The role is remote‑first and focuses on reliability, automation, observability and security in a global engineering environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead reliability and operational‑excellence initiatives across critical production platforms and cloud services.
• Define, monitor and improve SLOs, SLIs, SLAs, availability targets and error budgets.
• Design and implement scalable, resilient and secure cloud‑native architectures.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment using Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD best practices.
• Build and maintain observability solutions (monitoring, logging, tracing, alerting).
• Drive incident response, root‑cause analysis and post‑mortem processes.
• Improve operational maturity through automation, documentation and runbooks.
• Collaborate with global engineering, security, product and vendor teams.
• Perform capacity planning, performance optimisation and reliability analysis.
• Mentor engineers and promote knowledge sharing across technical teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Platform Engineering or DevOps.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with AWS; experience with Azure or GCP is a plus.
• Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Git‑based workflows.
• Experience defining and operating SLOs, SLIs, SLAs and error budgets.
