Senior Software Engineer – Music Apps

About the role

Apple’s Audio & Music Apps group is seeking a senior software engineer to help shape the future of GarageBand, Logic, MainStage and other music‑creation tools. You’ll join an international team working across iOS and macOS, collaborating closely with product design and QA to deliver high‑impact features.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and ship new features for iOS and macOS music applications.
• Build and refine audio‑processing and music‑production technologies.
• Maintain and improve existing app functionality.
• Work in a fast‑paced environment with tight engineering‑QA‑design integration.

Required profile

• Ambitious, creative engineer with strong communication skills.
• Attention to detail and critical thinking.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, international team.

Required skills

• Proficient in Swift and Swift UI.
• Strong experience with Xcode and related developer tools.
• Hands‑on experience with source‑control systems such as Git or SVN.
• Experience implementing user interfaces on iOS and/or macOS platforms.
