Senior System Administrator

About the role

NAXCON GmbH is seeking a Senior System Administrator to join its WAN transport operations team in Munich. The role focuses on the coordination, ordering and documentation of WAN, voice and mobility carrier services, supporting both internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Order, cancel, modify and document externally procured carrier services for WAN and voice.
• Record and process service requests, track order confirmations and forward information to requestors.
• Prioritise escalations and support construction or rollout activities for site connectivity.
• Plan, assess and coordinate WAN changes, including impact analyses and change‑management procedures.
• Maintain documentation in tools such as MS Excel, Maximo, SATIN and document management systems.
• Coordinate technical implementation of WAN system changes and monitor progress.
• Support quality meetings and ensure clear communication between technical teams, carriers and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in WAN order management.
• At least 3 years of hands‑on experience with Maximo and BWT or comparable operational management tools.
• Practical knowledge of WAN, voice, carrier services or telecommunications order coordination.
• Experience with change‑management processes in technical infrastructure environments.
• Strong documentation skills and proficiency with Microsoft Excel and standard office tools.
