Senior/Staff Product Designer – AI‑Driven Procurement Platform

About the role

The team you'll join designs the interface between humans and AI agents in procurement. Tacto builds AI‑powered software for strategic procurement teams in manufacturing, shifting from traditional dashboards to agentic capabilities that handle large units of work. Your mission is to make these AI capabilities feel natural, trustworthy, and useful for non‑technical procurement professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Shape how agentic capabilities surface in the product, turning AI work into clear, actionable insights for users.
• Design flows where AI and human judgment collaborate, moving beyond simple sidebars to integrated experiences.
• Create short‑horizon vision work (3‑6 months) using prototypes and tangible artifacts.
• Raise the bar for design craft and coherence as engineering velocity accelerates.
• Work directly in code for last‑mile polish, reviewing PRs and tweaking interactions before release.

Required profile

• Senior designer with a strong portfolio of shipped B2B SaaS or data‑heavy products.
• Deep opinions on how AI should appear in products, focusing on trust, transparency, and appropriate hand‑off.
• Comfort prototyping in code and moving beyond static Figma mockups when needed.
• Systems‑thinking mindset, caring about the cohesion of many features, not just isolated screens.
• Ability to operate in ambiguous, pattern‑less problems and invent new design solutions.
