Skilled Optical Worker (f/m/d)

About the role

Join Excelitas Technologies in Göttingen to assemble and bond high‑precision optical systems for semiconductor equipment. You will work in a cleanroom environment, handling complex opto‑mechanical modules and supporting development projects.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble and bond optical components such as achromats and beam splitters according to work instructions and technical drawings.
• Clean, visually inspect, and perform PNI cleaning processes on optical parts.
• Package optical components for cleanroom shipment.
• Process bookings and maintain documentation in SAP.
• Manage warehouse inventory independently and participate in 6S and continuous improvement activities.
• Conduct independent quality inspections and support development projects.

Required profile

• Completed vocational training as a precision optician or comparable qualification.
• Strong technical understanding and ability to read technical drawings.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• High manual dexterity and fine motor skills.
• Motivation, quick comprehension and strong team spirit.
