Validation Engineer (f/m/d)

About the role

Excelitas Technologies is seeking a Validation Engineer to plan, conduct and document qualification and validation activities for production facilities, equipment and test equipment in Goettingen, Germany.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, conduct and document qualification of production facilities, equipment and test equipment (IQ, OQ, PQ).
• Develop qualification strategies, acceptance criteria and maintenance plans.
• Perform re‑qualifications, process validations, test series and Design of Experiments.
• Prepare validation plans, test reports and final reports, and evaluate critical process parameters.
• Conduct statistical analyses, risk analyses (FMEA) and ensure long‑term process stability and capability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical, production or process engineering, natural sciences or a comparable technical field.
• Several years of experience in qualification, validation or manufacturing engineering.
• Strong analytical thinking, structured work approach and excellent communication skills.
• Fluent German (C1) and very good English (B2 or higher).

Required skills

• Statistical methods for process analysis (Cp/Cpk, SPC, MSA, DoE).
• Proficiency with MS Office and Office 365.
• Experience with statistical software such as BlueSky Statistics.
• Risk analysis tools (FMEA) and quality methods.
• Good knowledge of SAP.
