Social Media & Community Manager

About the role

Pocket FM is an audio entertainment platform with over 130 million listeners worldwide. As we launch in Germany, we are looking for a Social Media & Community Manager to build and grow our German‑language presence, engage listeners, and position Pocket FM as a cultural brand in the market.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute platform‑specific strategies for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Reddit and emerging channels, aligning content with German culture and trends.
• Create and schedule engaging formats such as audio snippets, teasers, cliffhangers and character‑driven videos, maintaining a content calendar tied to releases and cultural moments.
• Collaborate with creative, audio, growth and product teams to produce high‑quality assets.
• Interact with the audience through comments, fan theories, AMAs, polls, challenges and other community initiatives, turning listeners into brand advocates.
• Monitor sentiment, gather user insights and feed them back to internal teams.
• Track performance metrics (follower growth, engagement, reach, conversions) and continuously optimise content and messaging.

Required profile

• 4–8 years of experience in social media, community management or content marketing.
• Proven track record of building and scaling social media accounts or online communities.
• Strong ownership mindset, ability to manage multiple projects and work cross‑functionally.
• Passion for storytelling, entertainment, series, audiobooks, gaming or creator ecosystems.

Required skills

• Basic video editing.
• Design skills for creating visual assets.
