Social Media & Content Manager

About the role

As a member of Spire’s Growth Marketing and Go‑To‑Market team in Munich, you will help create and execute content and social media initiatives that raise the company’s brand visibility and engage its audience. This junior position offers the chance to work alongside experienced marketers in a fast‑moving space‑technology environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and publish content across Spire’s website, blog, LinkedIn, X, YouTube and event channels.
• Draft social posts, assist with video scripts, repurpose existing material and keep editorial calendars up to date.
• Manage the social media publishing schedule, upload assets, monitor comments and track performance metrics.
• Translate technical information into clear, engaging copy under senior guidance.
• Support campaign preparation, including email copy drafts, landing‑page text, visuals and social posts.
• Produce short‑form video clips, add captions and select visuals using Canva, Adobe Express or AI tools.
• Monitor industry conversations, competitor activity and assist with community engagement.
• Collect channel metrics, prepare simple reports and help derive insights for continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with Marketing, Sales and Product teams to ensure brand consistency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Journalism or a related field.
• Strong written communication skills in German and English.
• Interest in storytelling, technology and space/aerospace topics.
• Organised, proactive and able to thrive in a fast‑paced international setting.
• Eagerness to learn, accept feedback and grow into greater responsibilities.

Required skills

• LinkedIn and YouTube platform familiarity.
• Basic video‑editing and design tools such as Canva, Adobe Express or AI‑based platforms.
• Experience with marketing analytics tools like HubSpot or native platform analytics.
