Social Media & Content Manager

About the role

Join Spire’s Growth Marketing and Go‑To‑Market team as a Social Media & Content Manager. This junior position supports the creation, execution, and coordination of content and social media activities that boost brand visibility and audience engagement in the space technology sector.

Key responsibilities

• Support content development across website, blog, LinkedIn, X, YouTube and events, including drafting posts, assisting with video scripts, repurposing material and maintaining editorial calendars.
• Help manage the social media publishing schedule, upload assets, monitor comments and track performance metrics.
• Translate technical information into clear, engaging copy under senior guidance.
• Assist Brand and Marketing Activation teams with campaign materials such as email copy drafts, landing page text, visuals, videos and social posts.
• Produce short‑form multimedia by trimming clips, adding captions and preparing drafts for review.
• Monitor industry conversations, track competitor content and support community engagement.
• Collect channel metrics, prepare simple reports and extract insights with the Marketing Ops team.
• Coordinate with Marketing, Sales and Product teams to ensure brand consistency.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in content creation, social media or digital marketing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Journalism or a related field.
• Strong written communication in German and English; additional languages are a plus.
• Basic knowledge of LinkedIn and/or YouTube.
• Interest in storytelling, technology and space/aerospace topics.
• Familiarity with simple video editing or design tools (Canva, Adobe Express, AI platforms).
• Proactive, organized and able to thrive in a fast‑paced international environment.
