Software Engineer – Backend (Java/Spring Boot)

About the role

JD.com is looking for a Software Engineer to join the Joybuy backend team. You will help build and maintain high‑performance, secure, and scalable services that power one of the world’s largest e‑commerce platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Joybuy’s backend systems using Java and Spring Boot.
• Ensure system performance, availability, concurrency, security, and scalability.
• Identify technical risks and implement control strategies for monitorability, maintainability, and safe roll‑backs.
• Research, adopt, and promote new technologies and methodologies.
• Explore integration opportunities between emerging technologies and global system architectures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience with Java programming and Spring Boot.
• Passion for clean, elegant code and continuous improvement.
• Proactive, fast learner, highly collaborative with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills in both Chinese and English.
