Software Engineer – Show Control Systems

About the role

As a Software Engineer in Meyer Sound’s Software Department, you will develop cutting‑edge show‑control solutions that power live events for artists such as Ed Sheeran, Metallica and major festivals. The role focuses on delivering reliable, high‑performance software used by sound engineers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Write clean, maintainable C++ code with comprehensive unit tests.
• Collaborate with external developers and the internal SQA team.
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to software architecture decisions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, reviews and retrospectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of professional experience with modern C++.
• Experience developing networked, multithreaded, cross‑platform applications.

Required skills

• C++ (modern)
• JavaScript and/or TypeScript
• Git and CI/CD pipeline setup
• JUCE and/or Qt frameworks
• Frontend frameworks such as Vue.js or React
