Solution Architect – Azure & .NET Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Solution Architect to join our team at Quipu, the dedicated IT company of the ProCredit group. The role focuses on designing scalable, secure business solutions and modernising applications on Microsoft Azure and .NET platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design business solutions, system integrations and design patterns with emphasis on reuse, scalability, performance, availability and security.
• Propose application modernisation solutions, lifecycle‑management efficiencies and continuous improvements by identifying gaps in deployment and L3 production issues.
• Identify low‑code tooling opportunities and improve DevOps processes aligned with overall Business and IT priorities.
• Collaborate with development, Infrastructure and Site Reliability Engineering teams to ensure proper implementation of solutions.
• Assist with incident response, troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis and problem resolution.
• Work with the Enterprise Architect on design reviews, methodologies and best practices.
• Maintain architecture diagrams that accurately reflect the current state of solutions.

Required profile

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business IT or equivalent.
• Experience with .NET Framework, IIS, Windows, WCF Services, Microsoft SQL Server and Reporting Services.
• Proven track record architecting full‑stack IT modernisation strategies focused on resilience, reliability, performance and high availability.
• Experience with application integration (Web‑services, APIs, queues, batches, etc.).
• Strong background in Azure cloud services (SQL Database, VMs, API Management, Application Gateway, Azure Frontdoor, networking and security).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tooling and Azure DevOps.
• Fluency in English (spoken and written) and willingness to travel.
