System Administrator

About the role

This remote System Administrator position supports a global workforce from Germany. You will ensure that devices, software, networks, and security solutions run reliably, securely, and efficiently across multiple environments.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support for Windows, macOS, and Linux users.
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot workstations, peripherals, and IT equipment.
• Manage tickets via Jira, prioritising and resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
• Oversee device lifecycle: inventory, deployment, maintenance, and replacement.
• Configure and maintain security tools such as VPN, antivirus, MDM, backup systems, firewalls, and monitoring solutions.
• Ensure compliance with internal IT policies and security standards.
• Maintain technical documentation, procedures, and knowledge bases.
• Assist with network administration tasks (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLANs).
• Contribute to automation, scripting, and process‑optimisation initiatives.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of hands‑on system administration or technical support experience.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive attitude.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with an international team.
