Team Lead Software Engineering

About the role

We are looking for a Team Lead Software Engineer to drive the development of Serrala’s SAP Add‑Ons. In this hybrid role you will combine hands‑on software engineering with people management to deliver high‑quality SAP solutions that support finance automation for our global client base.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full product lifecycle of standard SAP Add‑Ons using the ABAP and Fiori technology stack, from design to release management.
• Define architectural standards, review solution designs and guide platform evolution to ensure scalability and maintainability.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of engineers, setting clear goals, giving feedback and fostering continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, architecture teams and the VP/Director of Engineering to align scope, priorities and communicate progress and risks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years of SAP development experience, with strong expertise in ABAP (mandatory) and preferably Fiori.
• At least 2 years of experience leading software engineering teams and delivering projects.
• Hands‑on technical mindset with the ability to contribute code when needed.
