Working Student Digital Product Management (eCommerce)

About the role

Beats & Bytes (B3S), Universal Music's technology organization, is looking for a working student for its eCommerce team in Berlin. The role sits within the digital product management field and lets you learn user-centric product management, how quality assurance fits into the product lifecycle, and how eCommerce systems connect sales, supply chain and finance processes.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with the eCommerce Product Managers and take on some product management tasks such as writing user stories
• Work in product trios with product management, design, research, insights and engineering
• Provide first-level product support for internal teams and help resolve issues together with engineering
• Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) and coordinate feedback loops with stakeholders
• Document testing outcomes, feature behavior and user feedback to support product improvements
• Maintain and improve product documentation and support guides

Required profile

• Enrolled in a full-time degree programme in product management or another relevant field, with more than 12 months remaining in your studies
• Strategic thinking, quick insight from disparate information, and interest in product development, testing and technical support
• Detail-oriented, organized, proactive and team-oriented, eager to learn
• Proficiency in English (German is a plus)

• Basic knowledge of eCommerce systems
• Understanding of quality assurance and testing in digital products
