Working Student – Electrical Engineering – Electronic Warfare

About the role

We are looking for a motivated working student to join our Electrical Engineering team and support the development of advanced Electronic Warfare (EW) capabilities on STARK’s internal platforms. You will work on hardware design, RF sensing, and system integration in a fast‑paced, defence‑focused environment in Berlin.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the development and integration of electronic and RF systems for EW functions.
• Design and set up hardware for RF sensing and signal acquisition.
• Support mechanical design tasks, including cable harness development.
• Participate in testing, debugging, and validation of electronic subsystems to ensure stability and performance.

Required profile

• Strong engineering fundamentals with a conceptual and implementation focus.
• Basic understanding of electronics, circuits, and RF systems.
• Interest in physics, RF behavior, and signal fundamentals.
• Experience with 3D printing and CAD tools.
• Clear, structured communication for cross‑functional collaboration.
• Relevant studies in Electronic, Telecommunications, Mechatronics Engineering or related fields, preferably with hands‑on hardware experience.
