Working Student Frontend Software Engineer

About the role

Avelios is looking for a motivated Working Student to join its Frontend Engineering team. You will gain hands‑on experience building large‑scale, mission‑critical software that supports hospital workflows and patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the core development team on real product features.
• Design, test, deploy, and maintain frontend components of Avelios services.
• Learn to build and maintain large‑scale clinical software infrastructure.
• Work with modern technologies in a high‑impact healthcare setting.
• Apply best practices for secure and efficient software engineering.
• Contribute ideas to improve performance, usability, and user experience.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in Informatics, Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field.
• Passion for learning new technologies and a solution‑oriented mindset.
• Fluency in German and/or English.

Required skills

• Experience with at least one of the following: Swift, TypeScript, React.
• Demonstrated coding experience (e.g., GitHub contributions) is a plus.
