Associate Installer Support Engineer (French Speaking) – Fixed Term

About the role

This 12‑month fixed‑term position supports Tesla’s residential energy products across Manchester, Amsterdam and Berlin. You will act as an escalation point for channel partners, providing real‑time diagnostics and solutions for on‑site technicians installing solar, storage and home‑charging systems.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver top‑tier technical support via phone, chat, email and other channels for live on‑site or off‑site issues.
• Follow best practices for case handling, documentation and follow‑up.
• Become highly knowledgeable in Tesla’s energy products and proprietary power‑electronics systems.
• Read and interpret single‑line diagrams, operational logs and system components.
• Identify trending issues, collect data and report findings to leadership and engineering teams.
• Provide feedback to improve training, resources and processes.
• Utilise Linux environments, SSH and other tools for advanced remote troubleshooting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or engineering field, or at least 2 years of technician experience.
• Fluency in English and French.
• Ability to make independent decisions and solve problems with limited direction.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in customer service, technical support or engineering environments.
• Solid understanding of electrical theory, especially AC/DC power systems.
