Business Developer – Germany & European Markets

About the role

Liqson, a specialist in mobile storage tanks and accessories for liquids, is seeking a Business Developer to accelerate growth in Germany and other European markets (excluding Belgium, the Netherlands, and France). You will be based in Germany and work closely with internal experts to turn customer needs into technical rental solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Drive business development in Germany and expand into other European markets (excluding BE/NL/FR).
• Acquire new customers through trade fairs, on‑site visits and digital prospecting.
• Develop and execute a focused prospecting and go‑to‑market strategy.
• Translate customer requirements into technical rental solutions together with internal experts.
• Collaborate with the projects team on quotations and project follow‑up.
• Report weekly to the Commercial Manager.
• Participate in customer installations to provide support and gain application insight.
• Maintain accurate administration and visit reports in the sales software.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development, technical sales or rental.
• Affinity with chemicals, pumps, valves or industrial services/rental.
• Strong ability to prospect autonomously and open new markets.
• Hands‑on, structured and results‑driven attitude.
• Fluent in German and English (mandatory); Dutch and/or French are a strong asset.
• Based in western Germany or eastern Belgium and willing to travel extensively within Germany.
