About the role
Huawei is seeking a Cloud Business Development Manager to drive the growth of its cloud portfolio across Germany and the broader European market. You will be responsible for building a pipeline of new customers, shaping go‑to‑market strategies, and delivering revenue targets in a fast‑moving, technology‑focused environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead cloud business development and client acquisition activities in Germany and Europe.
- Define and execute localized go‑to‑market and growth strategies aligned with regional objectives.
- Analyse market trends, customer needs and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities.
- Develop and manage relationships with key customers, partners, distributors and ecosystem players.
- Drive commercial negotiations, manage sales cycles and close contracts to achieve revenue targets.
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams (technical, delivery, HQ and regional stakeholders) throughout the full project lifecycle.
- Support marketing initiatives, events, exhibitions and branding activities to strengthen Huawei Cloud’s presence.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
- Proven experience in business development, sales or account management within IT, ICT or cloud environments.
- Solid understanding of the German market and local business practices.
- Strong client relationship management and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Analytical mindset with strong commercial awareness and a results‑driven approach.
- Fluent in English and German (C2 level).
- Willingness to travel occasionally within Germany and Europe.
